Clay Camp

The Artist Within had three fun-filled and very creative camps this summer.

Please check out what the young artists accomplished in a few short days!

Thanks to all of the great clay campers and their parents for choosing the Artist Within for

their summer camp experience!

Sincerely,

Mr. Bob, Ms. Vicki, Ms. Sarah, Lucy and Danniel

the Artist Within has a guest

Visiting artist Sidewalk Sam stopped by the Artist Within during his three-day visit to Muncie and BSU. The world-renowned artist, whose name is actually Robert Guillerman, was part of the "Paint 4 Peace" event held on campus and at other sites in the community. One of the activities he participated in was the painting of a 20'x20' "Dove for Peaceful Academic Communities" on the sidewalk between Bracken Library and the University Theatre. Sidewalk Sam and a companion artist, Roc Duv, spent a few hours at the Artist Within painting plates that will be part of the studio's annual "Create for the Cure" silent auction to raise awareness and funds for the Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research. The silent auction will take place during this Fall's ArtsWalk.
